Strategic Intent of the Campaign
Promote and launch RTA Myplates new range of HSV and FPV custom license plates at the Telstra Homebush V8 500 race.
Brief
- Manage design, manufacture and installation of all POS assets.
- Organise hire and delivery of computers, stools, tv-screens, etc.
- Display the entire Myplates range.
- Offer media and internet services to purchase plates online.
- Provide storage and security for literature and staff.
Solution Description
An exciting opportunity arose for Genesis Instore Marketing to work with the RTA Myplates division in project-managing their site at the Telstra Homebush V8 500 race.The space was a 6m x 3m Marquee and the principal brief was to deliver an exciting area that generated interest in their new HSV and FPV plates.
By providing 3D renderings throughout the design process, we assisted the RTA to visualise their space and identify any problems or constraints. Genesis Instore Marketing, aimed to maximise the wall space in the marquee by graphically branding wall panels which are normally not there. Genesis Instore Marketing worked with our suppliers in creating graphical panels, teardrop flags, and banners. We manufactured inhouse the desks, storage areas and panels to suit the marquee. The central desk needed to hold 6 computers and contain a lockable storage area underneath.
Results
With great organization and planning, the installtion and removal of the marquee was a great success. The RTA Myplates enjoyed a successful weekend of custom license plate purchases. Their brand presence was elevated through strong graphical displays and media interactivity.
