Campaign Title

Prevent & Control Pests

Strategic Intent of the Campaign

  • SC Johnson & Son is a leader in providing great products that make life a little easier and homes cleaner, safer and healthier. Arrest pests was a plan to maximise the sales of their pest brand products including Raid, Baygon and Off!.

Brief

A modular product display that allowed for retailer space, and stock commitment flexibility.

Solution Description

  • The formats chosen were ½ and ¼ pallet display formats.
  • In an industry first, Genesis produced the first ¼ and ½ pallet formats that could be transported in the cars of a national field team.
  • Proposed and accepted was a corrugated cardboard display characterised by all over premium four colour print.
  • To reduce cost, a modular display design was developed to keep tooling costs to a minimum.
  • As display manufacture needed to begin before the sell-in was complete, we offered format flexibility and live call-up of displays.
  • We provided pick, pack, collate and palletizing, together with a complete logistic service including labelling, distribution direct to store, liaison with SCJ and national field force, and on-line proof of deliveries.

Results

  • Thanks to the pos display format flexibility and tenacious efforts of SCJ and the merchandising sales team the custom design displays were widely implemented resulting in huge off-shelf product placement volumes.
